Pacific Island Goods Clearance
Importing tapa mats, fine mats, handicrafts, herbal juice, cocoa or other traditional goods from Tonga, Samoa, Fiji and surrounding Pacific Islands requires Customs and biosecurity clearance on arrival in Australia.
Our experienced team can manage the clearance process for you, including the Self-Assessed Clearance declaration, biosecurity document lodgement and arranging an inspection when required.
Please have the following documents ready:
✓
Air waybill
✓
Phytosanitary certificate
✓
Commercial invoice
✓
Driver licence or passport of the consignee
Please note: Most Pacific Island goods require a
biosecurity inspection. Tapa or barkcloth may be released without an
inspection when the correct documentation is provided. Complete the form
below and our team will contact you with the next steps and expected charges.
