TAPA / COCOA CLEARANCE

Please complete the below form for clearance of Tapa or Cocoa from the Pacific Islands.

Once documents and this completed form is received I will immediately lodge customs entry and send the paperwork to Quarantine for assessment who can take up to 24 hours to process – Tapa (Barkcloth – Broussonetia Papyrifera) will be released if correct Phytosanitary certificate is present once the department of Agriculture assess, HOWEVER COCOA, handicrafts and mats (Pandanus spp) need an inspection at QANTAS please note Quarantine inspections incur extra charges – $65 for 15min inspection fee plus document fee of $39 (additional time over 15mins QUARANTINE charge $65 per 15 mins) 

FAILURE TO TAKE GOODS SIGNED UP FOR INSPECTION TO A DEPOT FOR A BIOSECURITY OFFICER TO INSPECT IS A BREACH OF THE BIOSECURITY ACT AND CAN INCURE LARGE FINES OR EVEN JAIL TIME.-
